Willie Leonard Wins ADCC Pro GI Trials, Tracey Goodell Places Takes The Silver!

Team Lloyd Irvin‘s Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitor Willie Leonard wins his weight division and the absolute weight class! Willie wins an all expenses paid trip to Abu Dhabi and a chance to win the $3500 grand prize.

CONGRATS WILLIE

Tracey went to compete in the female Blue Belt absolute division to win a chance at winning an all expenses paid trip to Abu Dhabi also. When she arrived she discovered that the promoters had decided to put all of the belt ranks together.  In her second match she a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Brown Belt named Sophia.  Tracey was able to work her guard and get a perfect submission just like she’s been practicing in BJJ Class.  Watch as she does a text book finish

After winning her first few matches, she faced the always tough Hillary Williams and made a crucial mistake in the beginning giving up the mount position.  After being down on points Tracey wasn’t able to catch up on points and lost in the finals.

Congrats to both Willie and Tracey for their great performance this weekend.
