Priceless Kid Days… 2010 Lloyd Irvins Summer Camp!

Its a Great day at Lloyd Irvin’s Mixed Martial Arts Academy!

A Decade of Dedicated Service… Serving the DC, Maryland, & Virginia Area!

2010 Summer Camp is awesome! The kids come in 5 times a week FULL of energy! By the end of the day, they are all ready to hit the bed and crash out… The kids have a busy weekly schedule.

They enjoy the theme park rides and waterpark at Six Flags on Mondays.
Wednesdays the campers cool off at Allentown Splash Park for the afternoon.
Fridays we all go to the movies, laser tag, go carts, and many other choices.

If I was a kid I wish I had a camp like this…

Check out the video below and enjoy! Feel the fun energy!

ONE HUNDRED Rep Workouts + 5 Workouts = 500?! WHATS GOING ON?!?

Ok… so Strength & Conditioning Coach D’Angelo Kinard said we are on a “building phase.” Whatever that is supposed to mean we did 5 different workouts with ONE HUNDRED reps each! 500 Total Reps! WOW!

I don’t know how everyone feels but my upper body is telling me that it was one heck of a workout… I love the feeling of being sore knowing your body is rebuilding to be faster, stronger, and more endurance!

On a side note… LADIES!!! Have you heard of Lloyd Irvin’s SuperWoman Fitness Bootcamp? The “SGT” Ms. Alyshia Branson has lost over 80+Lbs and has her mind set on helping others!
She joined the Strength & Conditioning Class with the Pro MMA Fighters, Muay Thai Competition Fighters, and BJJ Competition Team today. She is no joke! She knows exactly what it takes to lose weight! Click on the link above for more information.

Check out the video to see some of our workouts!

Shoots!

This Is Why You Should Wrestle!

Another day in the combat athlete room at 5:30PM for Wrestling Class. The last time the SpyCam was in the wrestling room, a lot of the students were doing a load of drilling and sharpening up on their wrestling fundamentals. ONLY a few weeks later… All these guys & gals are wrestling live playing games like “King of the Hill.”

Its nice seeing guys that wrestled in college and high school coming in to these classes wrestling with the TEAM. Not only are they getting good matches in… they are also bringing the level up in the room. Go Get It!

Check out the video below to see what I’m talking about…. Enjoy!
