Today’s Strength & Conditioning Class was awesome! The competition team will be set to rock n roll to finish up 2010! We are all super stoked to put the strength and conditioning to the test! AGAIN! Everyone who did the workouts building up to the Mundials felt awesome. Tired was not in our vocabulary. We are working on getting real strong now with all these squats and core workouts. All I can say is that Im super excited.

My legs feel like jelly right now… Coach D’s workouts hit the spot! Something is working. HA!

Like Pere said, Proper Preparation! As a fighter you shouldn’t limit yourself to certain arts. Every martial art has a purpose! Come on, if its been around for Generations it has to be working! It may not work with Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) but there must be things in the art that you can add to your game that will work in different positions.

Approach training with an open mind… Yoga, kung fu, Fencing, and a whole lot of other stuff.

Below is the final episode of the Team’s fights this past weekend. Again Congratulations to Timothy Woods and Ron Stallings on their impressive performances this past Saturday! I was looking through the footage and was UPSET I didn’t catch the super duper monster WWE SLAM during Tim’s fight!

AHHHH! Ive never seen anything like it.

It made the Wanderlei Silva vs. Kazushi Sakuraba (is that how you spell his name?) Slam look like a baby slam!

Ultimate Warrior Challenge (UWC) Weigh Ins at the Hyatt Fair Lakes.

Team Lloyd Irvin Mixed Martial Arts Justin Hicky (145lbs), Ron “Choir Boy” Stallings (185lbs), and Timothy Woods (185lbs) will be fighting on tomorrow nights (May 22nd, 2010) UWC Judgement Day fight card at the George Mason Patriots Center in Fairfax VA.

Im super stoked because all of the guys have good tough fights ahead of them. 15min of fireworks!

Justin Hicky’s 145lb Pro Debut looks like nonstop action from these featherweights!

Ron Stallings has an interesting match up. If you havent seen Rons last fight he Knocked his Opponent the heck out!!! Ron is super motivated and can’t wait to jump back in there and showcase his skills.

Timothy Woods match up is going to be a stand up war! He is going up against a K1/Strikeforce vet. For those of you that have never trained with Tim don’t know that his stand up, kicks, **cough cough* are RIDICULOUS! man i cannot wait to see this fight.
