Another great day at Lloyd Irvin’s Mixed Martial Arts Academy! The Strength and Conditioning workouts this morning was brutally awesome. LOWER BODY & Core isolation! The strength and conditioning workouts we were doing this morning were hitting muscle groups that we never thought existed. Having the strength and conditioning for Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), Muay Thai Kickboxing, and all combat sports is essential to taking competition to the next level. Master Lloyd explained it real well… Its like playing a video game. Lets use Madden (football game) for example. For each team you’ll see their stats. Offensive, Defensive, etc stats. It applies to combat sports as well… You have your technique gauge, strength meter, conditioning levels, and so on! Its up to you to make that increase by your strength and conditioning workouts!
