Another great night of training at Team Lloyd Irvin’s Mixed Martial Arts Academy in Camp Springs, MD.

Rounds rounds rounds! Last night after a good 30 min drilling session the Team did major rounds. At Team Lloyd Irvin’s BJJ Advanced Class you’ll get some good work in… 2010 purple belt world champion Andris Brunovskis and 2010 Blue Belt Womens World Champion Sijara Eubanks were exciting to watch last night. The transitions were quick and crisp, the intensity was high, and the will to submit was off the chain! They were going at it! Sweep after sweep, take down after take down, submission attempt after submission attempt… it was exciting to watch!

By the way… Congratulations to the Team in Abu Dhabi ripping it up! JT, Jimmy, Kenny, DJ, and Pere are out there competing at the Abu Dhabi World Championships. The first week (nogi competition) results so far are:

JT – 3rd Place weight division
Jimmy- 2nd Place weight division
DJ – Double Gold weight division & absolute

This weekend the guys will be competing in their gi divisions. Stay posted for the results!
