Guard Passing Game!
The Guard Passing Game is one of the many games that goes on in Camp Springs Maryland during the Blue Belts & Above Combat Gold 8:30PM Advance BJJ Classes. There is one thing I really like about the way Team Lloyd Irvin plays The Guard Passing Game… When you pass someones guard and get a dominant position, you don’t just stop. The fight is just beginning! You must solidify your position for a couple of seconds. (Perfect for tournament training to secure your points)
The Guard Passing Game variations…
- One person starts on the ground playing guard (open or closed) and top person is passing.
- One person starts on their back and top person starts top half guard (half guard lockdown or any half guard position)
- Winner stays on their back and plays guard
- Winner is guard passer
