Man it is truly amazing how tired you can get from body weight workouts! We didn’t do ANY type of weight lifting today for our Tuesday lower body workout. But HEY! Its definitely part of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) Training & Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Training.
It was a smaller group today because the MMA Fighters and BJJ Competition Team have this week off because of competitions right around the corner. A rest Phase!
BUT!!!! This week was supposed to be a “rest” week and he put us through hell! It is an honor and privilege to work with D’Angelo. My strength, muscle endurance, and mental toughness has improved tremendously… but when he says the workout will be a “light” workout… DONT BELIEVE HIM! hahah..

We did turn it down to 5 minutes, but turned up the INTENSITY by 5000! It was great work! My legs are like jelly! No Pain No Gain!
